About Us
Ed bought his first filter by John Frantz in 1960 as a teenager for his '51 Chevy. Ed became an Authorized Distributor for 10 years then acquired the rights to manufacture the New Oil REFINER oil filter model by John Frantz in 2014 and offers you the most recent original model oil filter invented by John Frantz prior to his death. Mr. Frantz named it the New Oil REFINER. It has no internal parts and I make it right here in the USA, built of polished stainless steel and cast aluminum, and is the simplest model to service of any prior models Mr. Frantz ever designed.

Ed had a person who had intentions to purchase the business but he had the wrong intentions and was not interested in preserving the name of John Frantz and Mr. Frantz' wonderful history of his oil filter using toilet paper as the filtering media. Ed had closed this website in anticipation of the buyer taking it over or transferring it to his own website for you. The transaction did not go through and Ed was just now able to restore his website to the one you recognize and has his business name back in his name again. He apologizes for confusion and wishes to continue with a wonderful relationship with all his customers. He is now 83 and still would like to have someone take over the business as Ed ages and wants to protect was he has started decades ago.
